• I had this same question and the listed height with the lid open made it seem it would not fit, but you also need to consider the distance between the back of the wall (variable), the distance between the back of the machine to tip of the open lid. The open lid is above the bottom of my shelf, but it still opens fully and just rests against the cabinet door when open.
