Can I just hook up the cold water hose null

If you intend to only hook up a cold water hose to the LG 4.5 cu. Ft. Ultra Large Capacity Top Load Washer with Impeller & TurboDrum™ Technology, Model # WT7000CW, you cannot leave the hot water inlet open, so you will also need to connect your cold water line to the hot water inlet. The washer is designed so that the internal computer expects water pressure from both inlet ports. If the machine is run dry on an open hot water port, it can trigger internal sensor errors or leakage. You can use a 'Y' connector to split the cold water for both the hot and cold water inlet valves...^Ivan.
