“Light when lid open?? I cannot find any info on whether this model has a light that comes on when you open the lid like some other brands in this price category. Really hoping it lights up also as I really like everything else it has to offer. So everyone does it light up?? :)”

No light. Glass lid so you can see through it. I don't need a light to see in it. It is a huge tub...plenty of light from my laundry room lights to see....
