Hello there, Doris. Thank you for your inquiry about the WT7155CW washing machine. When you press and hold the Deep Fill button, the maximum amount of water added to the tub can be up to 27 gallons, depending on the load size and settings. Additionally, you can stop the extra water from being added at any time by simply pressing the Deep Fill button again. This gives you control over the wash cycle to ensure it meets your needs. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Honestly i don’t know how many gallons are used. The tub is so deep that i have to be on my tip toes to reach the bottom and i am 5’6 1/2 inches. I use the ‘Deep Wash’ settings for all my large loads and the clothes are covered from the start with water. As for stopping the additional water being added, i suppose that would only happen if you cancelled the wash at large level and reset the wash to medium or small. You might have to call the manufacturer for all these questions about number of gallons and stopping the added water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have no idea the actual gallons, however, it's a lot, nearly to the top, which is a lot of water! I've never tried to stop the water from filling after I chose deep fill, I do know I was able to "pause" it & add clothes, then start it again & the water finished "deep filling".
