    Asked by Martin.

    • Answer The lock is annoying but it’s a built in safety feature without a work-around option. I wish I could opt out of it.

  • QuestionWhat is a 4 way agitator?

    Asked by Zoli.

    • Answer This is very hard to explain, but here I go, bare with me please! So the agitator does the normal swish swash, then the basket spins & the agitator goes the oposite direction of the spinning basket. The very bottom of the basket has rubber bumpers, which I'm guessing is the 3rd way, lol. (The bumpers look like what "agitated" on my agitator less washer.) Lastly, the 4th, I'm guessing, is the pulsating feature that the agitator does while washing. Hope you understand my explanation, lol. I went from a non-agitating, to a front load then to this & by far it's the best washer I've owned!! My clothes come out cleaner than both washers mentioned above! (I took a picture of the basket to attach, however it's telling me it's too large, look at product description pictures & you'll see the white agitator, which pulsates, & the gray bumpers!) Hope this helps!

  • QuestionIf I press and hold the deep fill button, what's the maximum number of gallons of water that will be in the tub after filling? Also, can I stop the extra amount of water being added anytime?

    Asked by Doris.

    • Answer Hello there, Doris. Thank you for your inquiry about the WT7155CW washing machine. When you press and hold the Deep Fill button, the maximum amount of water added to the tub can be up to 27 gallons, depending on the load size and settings. Additionally, you can stop the extra water from being added at any time by simply pressing the Deep Fill button again. This gives you control over the wash cycle to ensure it meets your needs. • Answer Hi, this has Smart Diagnosis but no ThinQ app feature, If you ever experience an issue with your LG washer, you don't have to worry. • QuestionHow does Smart Diagnosis work? Is the machine always putting out a wifi signal? Can you turn it off? Does it only enable when you connect on your phone? I'm trying to avoid exposure where it's not necessary.

    Asked by TurboGirl.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG 4.8 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Top Load Washer with 4-Way™ Agitator & TurboDrum™ Technology (WT7155CW) model. The Smart Diagnosis feature in the LG WT7155CW washing machine allows users to troubleshoot issues by using the LG ThinQ app on a smartphone. The machine does not continuously emit a Wi-Fi signal, and the feature is not always active. • QuestionOn the LG WT7155CW washer, what is the distance between the top of washer to bottom of basket? I have short arms.

    Asked by Dave.

    • Answer Hello there, Dave. We understand your inquiry. You’re asking about the LG 4.8 cu ft. Top-Load Washer with 4-Way Agitator (Model WT7155CW) and whether you’ll be able to reach into the basket with shorter arms. While LG’s published specs list the overall height (44 ½″) and width/depth of the unit, the exact “reach depth” from the top rim down to the bottom of the stainless-steel tub isn’t specifically called out in the spec sheet. Based on the internal tub diameter and typical agitator dimensions for this model, you can expect to reach approximately 22 inches from the top edge of the opening to the bottom of the basket. Troubleshooting Tip: If you find you’re still struggling to reach items at the very bottom, try one of the following: • Load-friendly positioning: Angle heavy items—like bedding or towels—toward the front of the basket during the final rinse/spin, then pause the cycle and carefully open the lid to pull them forward. • Use a grabber tool: A long-handled washer grabber (available at most home-goods stores) can help you extract smaller items without straining. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-4-8-cu-ft-high-efficiency-top-load-washer-with-4-way-agitator-white/6492266.p?skuId=6492266 For any further assistance—whether it’s confirming that measurement or walking through alternative loading techniques—please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions. • QuestionThe water seems to be a little low with the amount of clothes I have in the washing machine. Do I need to set it at deep fill every time I’m washing? How does the machine detect the amount of water needed? There’s no water lever setting.

    Asked by Lucky.

    • Answer So, I've noticed with use after it washes for a minute or so, it'll stop, spin the basket & add more watar if necessary. Also, I've had to pause it, open the top, close, then unpause & it'll reevaluate the water level 9/10 times it'll add more water before beginning again. I've noticed the washer pretty much does it's own thing & my clothing has come out clean with very little water, just as when using the "Deep Fill" options! I always put the load as "Normal" & "Heavy" under soil. *** For the bedding wash do not stop it, let it do what it does, or else you'll be waiting 4 or more hours for your load to finish. Lastly, no matter what the time says once you start the wash, the machine will determine the actual time once the cycle begins & it's done adding the water. I've had my wash cycle go from 2H (hours) down to 36 minutes, which is awesome in my book, lol!!

  • QuestionCan the detergent drawer open without the lid fully vertical, or will it "catch" preventing the drawer from opening if lid is at an angle? Trying to gauge whether cabinets 4" too low would still work for us.

    Asked by CCLC.

    • Answer It opens with the lid dang near closed, so as long as you can get your arm in to pull the drawer open, it'll open all the way for you! Also you can use pods & downy ball & not have to touch the detergent drawer!
