• It doesn't matter what time the machine shows at the very beginning. I've had it go from 2H (hours) to 36 mins for the "Normal" wash & "Heavy" Soil. The machine determines the actual time once the cycle begins & water is done filling. It spins & does a pulsating thing, guessing its weighing, then it'll update the display time.

• It depends on which cycle you use, water temp, and the size of the load. The quick cycle is very quick. A typical normal cycle lasts about 55+ minutes.
