Yes it will work Westinghouse is not very good.

Please try again later.We are not clear on what an "auxial" cable is, but if you are referring to the coaxial cable, the LG - 40" Class - (40" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV - Black, Model # 40LH5300 like most flat screen TV's manufactured in 2006 or later have the capability of receiving digital TV (DTV) signals when you screw the coaxial cable into the CABLE/ANTENNA input in the back of the TV. You would then have to go into the TV's menu settings to scan for channels that the TV can pick up with the coaxial acting as an antenna. You will not be able to receive any encrypted channels and the quality of the signal may not be that great since this is a crude antenna...^IFV
