“Are these all with the newer EVO panel now? I know some did not have it when the 42" was first released.”

• They should be depending on manufacturer date, they stop production for a month or 2 because demand for tvs where not high, plus they wanted to catch up with the newer panels to add them to the 42 & 48 inches, if the screen has a pinkish tint its a newer panel as the old ones had a whitest tint
