Hi there, JimmyD. We understand your inquiry about using your LG OLED42C5PUA without Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and relying solely on your Comcast infrared remote. With your 42" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (Model OLED42C5PUA), you can disable both wireless radios so that the TV won’t attempt to connect online or pair with Bluetooth devices: Turn Off Wi-Fi: Press the Settings button on your Magic Remote, go to All Settings > Network > Wi-Fi Connection, and toggle Wi-Fi Connection to Off. Turn Off Bluetooth: From All Settings > General > Devices > Bluetooth, open Bluetooth Device List, then select each paired device and choose Forget. Finally, toggle Bluetooth off if available in your firmware. These settings will persist through power cycles, keeping your TV offline. Once wireless is off, simply connect your Comcast cable coax directly to the RF Antenna Input on the back of your TV, switch the input to Live TV, and use your Comcast infrared remote for power, volume, and channel changes. To ensure compatibility, you may need to program your Comcast remote to the LG TV code (e.g., code 117 or 017 depending on the remote model) following the instructions in your Comcast remote guide. Troubleshooting step: If your TV reconnects to Wi-Fi after a firmware update or restart, revisit Network > Wi-Fi Connection and confirm it remains toggled Off, then power-cycle your TV by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in to lock in the setting. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-42-class-c5-series-oled-evo-ai-4k-uhd-smart-webos-tv-2025/6621833.p?skuId=6621833 Please send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore any further solutions.
