  • QuestionWhat accessories go with this. Also do I need any extra cables to hook up with this?

    Asked by Buddy.

    • Answer The LG 43 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UM6910PUA has 3 x HDMI ports that you can connect to external devices that connect to a TV via HDMI like a Blu-ray Player. You can connect an external receiver using HDMI 2 on the unit which is an HDMI port that supports HDMI ARC functionality to an HDMI port on the receiver that also supports HDMI ARC functionality or a Soundbar. You'll need HDMI cables for those connections. It also has an Optical Digital Audio Out that can be connected to a receiver, Home Theater System or Soundbar that has an Optical Digital Audio In and you will need an Optical (aka Toslink) cable for that. If you click on the thumbnail image with '+9 images' on Best Buy's product page for the TV, on the page that opens are two columns of other thumbnail images and if you click on the third thumbnail image in the right column, you can get a closer view of the Shared Composite/Component port that you can connect to older devices like a VHS player or DVD player using the appropriate RCA cables...^IFV

  • QuestionWhat is the input lag on this tv for gaming?

    Asked by J.

    • Answer The input lag is not an official TV specification so it is not listed in the specification for TVs. However, there are online reviewers who test TVs for input lag and list it on their sites. They will also identify the Input Lag Testing Method used because the results will vary depending on what method is used to test for input lag and it will also depend on the TV's settings. Game mode on a TV turns off settings and some reviewers list the input lag for the LG 43 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UM6910PUA as 10.7 ms for 1080p @ 60 Hz 10.3 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz, 12.6 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz + 10 bit HDR, and 9.1 ms for 4k @ 60 Hz @ 4:4:4 all with Game Mode on...^IFV

  • QuestionAre there ads on the menu bar or anywhere else for this TV? I recently got a Samsung TV but was disappointed to see ads appear right on the menu bar. I'm sincerely hoping this TV does not have that issue.

    Asked by ConcernedCustomerDon.

    • Answer Not sure if the photo in the question is from your TV or not. If so, those logos on the bottom of the screen in menu bar are for the compatible streaming apps. So they are not ads, but shortcuts to different streaming aps for different streaming services. If you are seeing something else, then please post more photos. Otherwise if you are looking at a program guide or menu bar for a cable/satellite provider and seeing adds, that's an issue with your cable/satellite provider or streaming provider. Good luck!
