The LG 43 Inch Class 4K HDR Smart LED TV (42.5'' Diag), Model # 43UM6910PUA has 3 x HDMI ports that you can connect to external devices that connect to a TV via HDMI like a Blu-ray Player. You can connect an external receiver using HDMI 2 on the unit which is an HDMI port that supports HDMI ARC functionality to an HDMI port on the receiver that also supports HDMI ARC functionality or a Soundbar. You'll need HDMI cables for those connections. It also has an Optical Digital Audio Out that can be connected to a receiver, Home Theater System or Soundbar that has an Optical Digital Audio In and you will need an Optical (aka Toslink) cable for that. If you click on the thumbnail image with '+9 images' on Best Buy's product page for the TV, on the page that opens are two columns of other thumbnail images and if you click on the third thumbnail image in the right column, you can get a closer view of the Shared Composite/Component port that you can connect to older devices like a VHS player or DVD player using the appropriate RCA cables...^IFV
