• To turn off the horrible voice, do this: Press the remote button that has the "gear" symbol. Press the necessary arrow buttons until the "Accessibility" circle is highlighted, then press the OK key. Press the necessary arrow buttons until "Audio Guidance" is highlighted, then press the OK key. Press OK again to turn the voice off.

• This "feature" (called "audio guidance") drove us crazy for a day. There was no option on the menu to turn it off. I called LG customer service and an agent resolved the problem (thankfully)
