When I purchased my television I was recommended by bestbuy.com to purchase the rocketfish 4in Ultra UHD 4K HDMI Cable to plug it from my cable box to television. And it cost $30 at the time. It works wonderfully. You get what you pay for. You buy cheap you get cheap results. You buy the correct product that may be more expensive. It always pays out with a more positive outcome.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using a midrange (cost) HDMI cable and all is good.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As this is a 4K UHD TV, you only need to buy a HDMI 2 (second generation) cable. Regular HDMI cables do not have the electronic bandwidth to carry a 4K signal. You will likely need one for your cable box HDMI output as wall as Blu-ray player, and will definitely need to use a HDMI 2cable if you will be using one of the new 4K UHD Blu-ray players. Although your cable box may have only regular HD 1080P output, the cable companies are developing new 4K capable boxes which will be released in the next year, or so.
