• Certainly will I’m watching movies right now from a usb mp4 file. I would recommend external hard drive

• MP4 is listed in the User Guide as a supported video codec. You can find a list of other supported video codecs in the User Guide under Play other device files>Photo & Video https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-43UK6090PUA#manuals ^CP
