Contrary to the response from LGAnswers, the actual box for the 43UN7300PUF states "Real 4K IPS" along with a description that reads "Widen your viewing angles without sacrificing color and detail" so I think the claim of a VA panel is wrong. In 2019, the 50" version of this TV was the only size in the lineup to have a VA panel according to Rtings.com and perhaps the same is true with the 2020 model.

They had a message on the um7300 review page that it was going to be replaced by the un7300. My goal was to replace a tangled mess of monitors and wires into 1. I have achieved this goal, but here is my journey to this decision. I used a website google "is this retina" and I came up with the conclusion the setup I have that a 43" 4k monitor/tv would be perfect for the pixel density I desire. I search for 4k 43 inch tvs and monitors and it came down to a few things. TVs are cheaper. I assume its because there are less inputs. Then the next most important factor is chroma 4:4:4 at 4k 60hz. Rtings.com has a test image you can check to see if the tv/monitor is at that chroma spec. I went to costco and tried a 43" samsung tu700d, but that for sure does not have the right chroma sampling for pc use. I used the samsung for 3 days, and I ordered the un7300. I hooked it up and it was instantly amazing. The viewing angles are way better and when you put the input into "pc" mode and set the settings that Rtings.com has on their website for the um7300 the picture looks amazing. I have windows directly to the right of the tv that are open to light all day. This has no problem. It looks amazing at 4k. Now I can code, etc without having to swtich between 5 monitors. I would highly recommend this it just works. I was also concerned about the HDMI cable but came to the conclusion that needing a better cable was a Myth for what I was doing. I highly recommend this tv if you want a 4k monitor for productivity, as its only 60hz. If you want gaming I recommend looking at 1440p 27" sector for 120Hz or higher monitor. If you desire the pixel density.
I would recommend:

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The panel fpor the LG Electronics - 43" Class - 7 Series - 4K UHD TV - Smart - LED - with HDR, Model # 43UN7300PUF is a VA panel and it is a semi-gloss panel. When HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color is set to On in the TV, it will support 4K @ 50/60Hz with Chroma Samplings of 4:4:4, 4:2:2, and 4:2:0. If the device connected to Input Por t also supports ULTRA HD Deep Color, your picture may be clearer. However, if the device doesn’t support it, it may not work properly. In that case, change the TV’s [HDMI Ultra HD Deep Color] setting to off...^IFV
