In answer to your question, yes, the UN7300 has sufficient inputs/outputs to connect a DVD player and Sound System. I would recommend using the HDMI inputs for the DVD player and using an optical output for connection to a soundbar or sound system, but it does have other more conventional inputs and outputs. It will display information from other systems if you use the HDMI connections or the bluetooth connection.
