That is the ONLY way the TV will connect properly with Alexa. The TV will NOT connect to Alexa as boxed. The remote that comes with the TV has no mic and no Alexa button. See the photos. The long remote with tiny buttons does not connect to Alexa. The photo on the TV screen is the correct remote and is NOT shipped with the TV
