• All TVs with a coaxial input are cable compatible but you'll need a cable box. If you're asking if you need a cable box with this TV, yes you will but double check on the LG website. You may want to try a streaming service - you won't need a box and the WebOs that is the system on this device allows downloading of apps for a bunch of services, like Sling, YouTube TV, and a bunch others.
