• I would say no.The unit is fairly heavy,and needs support from window sill.I actually made a frame for it to sit on,while also raising it it up slightly ,for clearance purposes.I have storm windows that would have caused the unit to tip forwards and condensation to drip inside the house.Very simple set up,.Also installed a brace for additional support. I needed to do this due to old window design.If you have newer windows,I would expect the the installation to be easier
