Hi there. Thank you for sharing your inquiry with us. We understand your inquiry regarding how the 45GR65DC-B monitor handles the 16:9 aspect ratio signal from a PS5. Because the PS5 outputs a standard 16:9 aspect ratio and this UltraGear monitor features a 32:9 DQHD UltraWide screen, the image will not naturally fill the entire display while maintaining its original proportions. To ensure the game looks "normal" and avoids a stretched or distorted appearance, the monitor will display the image with black bars on the left and right sides (known as pillarboxing). This allows the 16:9 content to be presented accurately as the creators intended. If the setting were adjusted to fill the entire 32:9 screen, the image would indeed appear horizontally stretched. We recommend checking the monitor's internal menu settings using the joystick button; ensure the "Aspect Ratio" is set to "Original" to maintain the correct proportions for your console gaming. Additionally, this model supports Picture-by-Picture (PBP) and Picture-in-Picture (PIP) modes, which are excellent features if you wish to use the extra screen real estate for another task while gaming. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-45gr65dc-b-ultragear-45-in-qhd-200hz-1ms-200hz-curved-gaming-monitor-black/BGTKK8C3CL If you have any further questions about its features, please contact us on [email protected], and our team will be more than happy to assist you. —Renzo
