Hi, Alisa. Thanks for reaching out. We understand your question about the remote for your LG TV (OLED48B5PUA) model. It is a great question, as having a backlit remote can be very helpful in a dark room. The Magic Remote that comes with the OLED48B5PUA does not have backlit buttons. However, it is designed for ease of use with features like a cursor that works like a mouse and voice control, which can make navigating your TV a breeze even in low light. For more information on the features of your TV and its remote, you can check https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-oled48b5pua-oled-4k-tv.
