The LG new tv does not receive all internet servers. I have spectrum and had to buy an apple box to attach to my new smart tv to pick up wifi from spectrum. Even the sales people at Best Buy don’t u derstand all this stuff

In my case the answer was that LG tv does not connect to all wifi internet providers. It is a smart tv so it seemed to connect to some but not all apps and channels. My internet service is Spectrum. The tv did not respond to or read spectrum signals. I had to connect an apple box of some sort to the back of the tv to pick up spectrum signals. It is a pain very frustrating. I wish I knew this before I bought the tv but I am not sure there is anything I could have done different but it was infuriating to buy a new tv and when it didn’t work spectrum said call Best Buy and Best Buy said call spectrum. Why didn’t either know about the limitations of smart tvs. The apple box comes in a range of prices uo to over 200. Good luck!
