That's really not the measurement so many people think it is. With OLED the blacks are real black...actual pixels turned off and no light behind them. So your eyes measure the brightness of the TV against ZERO black level. I'll just say we're in Florida and this tv is in my lanai with 6 windows facing N and E and we can easily see everything - especially since the TV's screen is not as reflective as many others.
