Questionwe bought a lg 49sk8000pua last november. we love it. the only thing is the sound . i went into the audio mode and changed some things but it did'nt really help. also the mouth movement and sound don't always match. any hints? i don't want a sound bar.

- Answer Yeah, it’s an issue. I resolved it by using either line out or optical link from cable box to an external amplifier & speakers, so I don’t listen to the TV’s onboard speakers or a sound bar. Definitely solved the audio sync/delay problem encountered from an HDMI connection.

QuestionIs this model CEC compliant? My Onkyo audio receiver has on screen display for programming it but only works with the CEC compliant TV which I’ve never heard of nor been able to find

QuestionThe cabinet/table I have to set the TV on is only 30.25 inches wide. You stated the stand is 32 inches wide. What should I do?? I don't think wall mount will be an option in my case. Thanks!

- Answer Hi PachPalace. Regrettably, the only option available if the stand is too wide for your current cabinet/table, you may want to consider getting a TV Stand that is wide enough to accommodate the stand. Placing the TV on your current cabinet/table means that the ends of the stand will overlap it by 7/8" on either side if the TV is placed centrally on it. If the aesthetics don't bother you and the TV is secure and sturdy, and doesn't rock from side to side, you could still use your cabinet/table if you're comfortable with that...^IFV

QuestionSo I just purchases a 50uk6300pue model and I am really not happy with the picture and I was suggeated to try this one...is this a much better quality model...everything looks awful on the 6300 except for instance a blu ray 4k movie.

- Answer I cannot judge if you will like this one but I really like the picture quality! I watched Star Trek Discovery from my Amazon account and the quality was super awesome! I turned the picture mode to vivid and sound to cinema. On those free channels that are not setup to broadcast with these smart tv's in mind the quality will not be so great, but that is not the tv's fault! you will just have to get a tv package with channels for HD tv's!

QuestionHow do you turn off the sound on the remote? It says the volume whenyou turn it up or down and I want to turn it off.

- Answer Look on the remote for the "VOL" key, slightly above that key and to the right, centered on the remote is a key that looks like a speaker with a slash through it. That key is the "mute" button which turns off the sound when pressed once. Press the button again to turn on your sound again. Hope this helps you. Enjoy!

QuestionThe 49” TV stand has the screen tilting backwards at a slight angle. Why does LG do this and does it impact viewing?

- Answer What I've noticed when setting the tv up was that it does have a little extra give to it. What maybe will work is if you fiddle with it a little bit and see if maybe you can get it at the right angle your wanting, hope that will help you out

QuestionHow can I connect my JVC or BOSE wireless bluetooth headphones to this LG television? I went to the settings but all I find is attaching a smartphone to stream music out of the TV speakers. Surely a bluetooth device like this must connect to headphones.

- Answer I connect by Bose QC30 with no trouble at all. I read that the TV uses Bluetooth 4.0. As long as your Bluetooth device uses 4.0 or better, it will work. The B&H website is EXCELLENT about giving very detailed specs on a lot of electronic/photo/audio visual devices. Just Google "B&H" if you don't know what it is.
