I can confirm it does work with g-sync at 4k120hz with my 3070. Make sure to update the television. You'll also need a hdmi 2.1 cable. And finally in nvidia control panel in the resolution make sure it's on pc 4k to be able to select the 120hz. It was hidden took me awhile to figure that out. Thought maybe it was the cable. Also turn on gsync and hit the checkbook. It's a remarkable TV for the price.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unlike our OLED TVs that are both G-Sync compatible and also support AMD FreeSync™ Premium and HDMI 2.1 VRR, the LG NanoCell 85 Series 2020 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD NanoCell TV w/ AI ThinQ® (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49NANO85UNA only supports AMD FreeSync™ Premium and HDMI 2.1 VRR. Nvidia announced that they were bringing HDMI 2.1 VRR support to their RTX 20 series of graphics cards when we announced that our 2019 series of OLED TVs were becoming G-Sync Compatible screens and they later confirmed that they were enabling GeForce RTX and GeForce GTX 16-Series gamers to connect their PCs via HDMI to validated G-SYNC Compatible LG TVs. With HDMI 2.1, VRR support is a mandatory feature of the standard, and Nvidia is supporting HDMI VRR because they have to support it to fully support HDMI 2.1. AMD had already promised to add HDMI 2.1 VRR support to its Radeon Software drivers...^IFV
