how do you measure the screen or tv? null

TV screen sizes are always the diagonal measurement for the viewing screen (i.e. does not include the bezels). As insicated in the title, the LG 49 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV (48.5'' Diag), Model # 49UM6900PUA has an actual diagonal measurement of 48.5" which is rounded off to 49" so the TV is categorized as a 49" screen. Screens for computer monitors are measured the same way...^IFV
