YES! get a hose splitter from your local hardware store it's found in the washing machine section and looks like a "Y" the machine will think it's pulling hot/cold water but in reality it's pulling whatever the temperature of the water source you hooked it up to. Without the splitter you'll get an error code though.

This model features an internal water heater, so you can connect it solely to a cold-water supply and it will heat the incoming water to the selected temperatures—no external hot-water heater required. Troubleshooting Tip: If you find your wash temperatures aren’t reaching the expected levels, please verify the unit is on its own dedicated 120 V, 12 A circuit and that the power cord is fully inserted into a grounded outlet. Proper electrical supply ensures the internal heater can operate at full efficiency. https://www.lg.com/us/washers-dryers/lg-wm6998hba#pdp_specs For any further questions or personalized assistance, please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport and our team will be more than happy to explore possible solutions.
