• Honestly I wouldn't. I'd just plug it into a 120v outlet nearby instead. This is an expensive machine and I'd hate to see you ruin it over something like that.

• My new combo washer/dryer is plugged in to the outlet that been used for my old electric washing machine. The 220 volt outlet from my old dryer remains unused.
