Hello there! Thank you for your question regarding the WM6998HBA washer-dryer combo unit. Yes, this model can be placed in a closet, but it’s important to ensure that there is adequate ventilation and space around the unit for proper airflow. For optimal performance, LG recommends maintaining at least 1 inch of clearance on the sides and back of the unit and 3 inches at the top. Additionally, be mindful of the door swing and any required access for maintenance. If you have any further questions or need assistance with installation, please feel free to send us a private message on Social Media @LGUSSupport. Our team is here to help! Thank you for reaching out! —Avril
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, depending on the closet dimensions and availability of water / outlets / drain.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the dimensions and weight limits check out and there is access to required electricity and water connections without any hazards this should be possible. Too many variables to provide a yes or no answer. The one thing I can confirm is that there is no need for a vent so that is one less bother.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since it doesn't require any active venting like a traditional dryer, that shouldn't be a problem. You'll still need to plumb hot, cold, and drain water of course.
