Hello there. We understand your inquiry regarding the LG 5.0 Cu. Ft. HE Smart Mega Capacity All-in-One WashCombo. This specific model is designed to operate on a standard 120V, 60Hz, 15-Amp outlet and should not be wired for 240V (220V). Because it utilizes a ventless Inverter Heat Pump, the air will feel warm rather than hot compared to traditional dryers, as it focuses on energy efficiency and fabric care. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-5-0-cu-ft-he-smart-mega-capacity-all-in-one-electric-washer-dryer-washcombo-with-steam-and-ventless-inverter-heat-pump-black-steel/JJ8VPZQ98S For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. —Renzo
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No should not be wired with 220 electrical, sounds like you have a manufacturer defect like I did. Contact best buy and LG and see what the next steps would be for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We were using a dedicated 110 with 20 amp breaker and were having trouble with tripping the circuit. LG instructed us to change to a 15 amp breaker and we having no further issues. Additionally we were have trouble with drying and the unit collecting water in the unit. The drain hose was longer than necessary and the drain pump was not pumping all the water out. Once I cut the drain hose and and drained the unit from the front drain area we have not had any issues. The drain hose needs to be installed properly and can’t be too long.
