Mega Capacity Smart Top Load Washer with Impeller, EasyUnload™ & AI Sensing, Model # WT8200CW, can be used on any floor in your house as long as the floor is solidly constructed and capable of supporting washer without flexing or bouncing, and does not slope more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) from front to back or side to side. If the floor has too much flex, it will need to be reinforced to make it more rigid so it does not cause severe vibration and noise. You will need to make sure the floor is clean, dry, and free of dust, dirt, water, and oil so the leveling feet cannot slide easily. Leveling feet that can move or slide on the floor can contribute to excessive vibration and noise. Concrete flooring is best, but a wood floor is sufficient, provided it is built to FHA standards. Installation on carpeting and soft tile surfaces is not recommended...^Ivan.
