Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To my knowledge, I believe the amount of water is based on the weight of the load. The washer senses how much water will be necessary to clean the items. The lower water level is how you save money by using a front load machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In general, the water doesn't reach the window on the door and fills to a level below the window. Some cycles, like delicate, may use more water and may fill to the window level. If your clothes are clean and rinsed, don't give it another thought. We have had various makes of front loaders for over 30 years now, and all of them wet the clothes but the water level is never above the clothes. All you see is wet clothes sitting in water but not swimming in it.
