Hi there. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG 5.0 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Stackable Front Load Washer. We understand your inquiry regarding the water levels of this unit. High-efficiency washers are designed to use significantly less water by sensing the load weight and only using enough to saturate the clothes and perform the wash, so it is normal not to see a high pool of water. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-5-0-cu-ft-high-efficiency-stackable-front-load-washer-with-6motion-technology-white/JJ8VPZRCP7 For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To my knowledge, I believe the amount of water is based on the weight of the load. The washer senses how much water will be necessary to clean the items. The lower water level is how you save money by using a front load machine.

Some cycles, like delicate, may use more water and may fill to the window level. If your clothes are clean and rinsed, don't give it another thought. We have had various makes of front loaders for over 30 years now, and all of them wet the clothes but the water level is never above the clothes. All you see is wet clothes sitting in water but not swimming in it.
