Washer WM4500HBA has a default settings are configured to dispense 1.5 oz (45 ml) of detergent and 1 oz (30 ml) of softener for 8-12 lb (4-6 kg) of normally soiled laundry. This can be changed using the Detergent Level or Softener Level button. The default amounts can be increased or decreased in 0.1 oz (3 ml) increments, within a range of 0.3 oz (9 ml) to 6.0 oz (180 ml). The amount dispensed may vary slightly. Please see page 31 of the owner's manual for steps on how to change the default settings.
