Q: I like to use white vinegar when I wash. What dispenser would I put it in since the detergent is preloaded? Would I put it in the bleach dispenser any time that I want to wash with it?

A: No, do not place vinegar in the bleach dispenser. It will not dispense correctly and it can be dangerous to mix with chlorine bleach as it can cause production of lethal gas, resulting in death or injury. It is best to add it directly to the tub. ^Daphane

Q: Can powder soap be used in the machine? And can it be used in the automatic dispenser?

Q: How much detergent does it automatically dispense on the low medium and/or high setting? Any information would be helpful.

A: Washer WM4500HBA has a default settings are configured to dispense 1.5 oz (45 ml) of detergent and 1 oz (30 ml) of softener for 8-12 lb (4-6 kg) of normally soiled laundry. This can be changed using the Detergent Level or Softener Level button. The default amounts can be increased or decreased in 0.1 oz (3 ml) increments, within a range of 0.3 oz (9 ml) to 6.0 oz (180 ml). The amount dispensed may vary slightly. Please see page 31 of the owner's manual for steps on how to change the default settings. Q: Is there a way to pull out the rubber in front of inside washer to clean it properly? Our current gets mold and mildew all in it and impossible to clean.

A: No, the rubber is not removable. However, there appears to be enough space to clean the rubber with this particular model if you had to. This model also includes a "Tub Clean" cycle in which you could add bleach if you wanted to. I personally prefer tossing in a bleach pack (a powdered bleach pod) directly into the tub and then using the "Tub Clean" cycle.

Q: How do you manually add different detergent to this machine when it is already fully pre-loaded with a detergent. Occasionally, I like to use a different detergent for certain loads. Manual is unclear. Pressing “detergent level” and then what??

A: Press the Detergent or Softener Level repeatedly to turn off ezDispense function. Use the main wash detergent compartment to fill the manual dispenser compartment. Q: How much space is needed for hoses/hookup between the wall and the back of the washer? Depth of this space in inches?

A: To ensure sufficient clearance for water inlet hoses, drain hose and airflow, allow minimum clearances of at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) at the sides and 4 inches (10 cm) behind the washer. Be sure to allow for wall, door, or floor moldings that may increase the required clearances. ^Daphane

Q: Are the doors reversible? Can the dryer or washer door be changed from a left open to a right open?
