No, the rubber is not removable. However, there appears to be enough space to clean the rubber with this particular model if you had to. This model also includes a "Tub Clean" cycle in which you could add bleach if you wanted to. I personally prefer tossing in a bleach pack (a powdered bleach pod) directly into the tub and then using the "Tub Clean" cycle.
