“I don't have a smart phone so can I still use this washing machine and the matching gas dryer? If I need to contact someone can I call since I can't download the apps with no smart phone?”

Although I own a smartphone, I have not used it in conjunction with my washer. Therefore, I feel comfortable stating that you do not need a smartphone to wash and dry clothes. Happy Laundry Day!
