I believe the only difference between the two is the 6700 model has ezDispense which adds just the right amount of detergent and fabric softener for you, with capacity to clean 18 loads with 1 easy fill.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The WM6700HBA Has an automatic detergent and softener dispenser that dispenses the products for you. You just fill the machine up with your jug of detergent and softener and it will determine the right amount for each load and dispense it. Also the tub size I believe is 5.2 cu ft. on this model and the WM6500HBA IS 5.0 cu ft with manual detergent and softener drawer(you add it for each load).

Both units share the same 5.0 cu. ft. capacity and core features, but the WM6700HBA includes the ezDispense™ system for automatic detergent and softener dispensing, which is not present on the WM6500HBA. https://www.bestbuy.com/product/lg-5-0-cu-ft-high-efficiency-stackable-smart-front-load-washer-with-steam-and-turbowash-360-black-steel/JJ8VPZRYH4 For further assistance and any specific concerns you may have, please contact us on [email protected]. —Renzo
