Is there a problem with glass top breaking? How long is it covered in warranty? null

Haven't heard of any lids breaking. The lid is protected  by hydraulics in the lid mechanism to not allow the lid to slam. If you let it go it floats down slowly onto the washer.
It is warranted  for 1 year

I haven't had any issues with the glass top. I like it because I can see the washing process. The warranty is 4 pages, and here's the link to the information you want:

Hello, it has 1 year manufacturer's warranty. We don't really get any issues about the glass breaking not unless something unexpected happened like a physical damage.^Venette
