You can try using the tub clean cycle but note top load LG washers don't require the use of special cleaners.You can put up to one cup of bleach into the detergent recepticle and select the tub clean cycle. Don't put cloths in the washer during this cycle. You can use commercial cleaners but you will be required to follow their cleaning insttuctions and note some require you to physically clean the tub that you can reach with your hands if you were removing scale deposits and with all commercial cleaners you will also be required to run a tub clean cycle without the cleaner before washing any cloths to clean out the cleaner residue.The last step is to always leave the lid up to allow the washer to dry fo at least 24 hours.
