Hi there, Scott. Thanks for reaching out. The rear wireless speakers and subwoofer of the LG S70TR Sound Bar are powered using a power cord. They do not run on batteries, so you won't need to worry about replacing them. https://www.lg.com/us/sound-bars/lg-s70tr-sound-bar#pdp_specs Both the wireless speakers and the subwoofer are plugged into a power source via the included power cords.
