“Washer noise- squeal when filling water, crackling sound on spin? So when this washer fills with water it makes a loud squeal/whooshing noise (Nothing is wrong with my plumbing as the GE washer this replaced made no noise whatsoever). Then on final spin, it makes a crackling sound - sort of like bacon frying. Anyone else have these issues? I'm have 10 more days to return this and am thinking of switching to electrolux or samsung.”

We do hear the big whoosh when it's filling up but no squeal or bacon fry noise. The bacon noise might be air in the line we had that initially and we had to turn our water pressure up slightly (at the main) because this washer does demand a lot of water in a short time while it's loading or you can get that hammering/air sound.
