A:AnswerThe LG 9.0 cu. ft. Mega Capacity Electric Dryer w/ Steam™ Technology, Model # DLEX8100W, like other LG Electric Dryers, does not come with a power cord because it has its own terminal block that must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes. All the wiring and grounding must conform to the latest edition of the National Electrical Code,ANSI/NFPA 70 and all applicable local regulations. A 4-wire connection is required for all mobile and manufactured home installations, as well as all new construction after January 1, 1996. A 4-wire connection must be used where local codes do not permit grounding through the neutral wire. So depending on when your home was built and what your local codes are, you will need to check your building codes or consult your local building inspector to determine whether you have to use a UL-listed 30 A, 240 V, 3-wire, #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor power cord through the strain relief or a a UL-listed, 30 A, 240 V, 4-wire, #10 AWG-minimum copper conductor power cord through the strain relief.
This washing machine does come with new hoses.
Please ensure the following prior to delivery:Water valves (hot and cold) must be corrosive free and within 6 ft. of hookup,Verify your existing electrical and water connections, Empty & unplug your old appliance.
