• This washer also has an agitator of sorts, the bottom of the tub has a separate textured circular plate, it has ridges and such and acts similar to an agitator. The washer uses less water, so this structure can create currents as it rotates back and forth similar to the old school 18" tall or so agitators, but it is gentler on clothes.

• Well, non agitator like this one is gentler on clothes like front loaders but small capacity ones than this type can twist sheets into a loose knot. Some sheet materials become difficult to untie, some say. Our "high thread count" king & queen sized sheets are not having this problem. They only twist a bit, as expected.
