No problem with the top or edge of washer but we do not set anything on the top.The matching dryer does show scratches on the top where we have set the clothes basket on and slid it across the top. We've honestly been more concerned about the washer and this is the 4th one in a month....and finally this LG seems to be working OK so far. Thankfully, we purchased from Best Buy and they have been great to work with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We've had it for just a few months, but the lid is quite durable, has a stainless steel surface that is pretty strong, and washer body seems to be either enamel or powder coated=baked on plastic coating.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! My advice would be to leave on the plastic peel tape that comes with the washer. I've only had my washer 2 weeks and it looks like its been in a knife fight lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not noticed the edge showing scratches at all. However, it does show fingerprints easily. That is why I did not buy the full stainless model that would have shown fingerprints all over the lid and sides. I saw a full stainless floor model covered in fingerprints. I do like the washer overall.
