Hello there. Thanks for reaching out. The waterproof feature is for waterproof or water-resistant items. For any item that has “water-resistant” as a description. Water-resistant clothes are treated with a chemical to keep them water-resistant, wash in the wrong cycle and they can lose the special coating. `Jai.

For a full manual you can scan the QR code. Find it on the bottom edge of the lid when you open it. I don't have downloaded settings but think that probably has to do with if you have the Bluetooth controlled option.
