Just recently purchased an LG top loading washer (white). After washing we normally leave the top open for a couple of hours to allow any moisture to evaporate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did not purchase from Best Buy, however, 3 yr old LG Top load washer rusting! we are a retired couple… so not a lot of laundry, and have always followed the user instructions of leaving the soap dispenser and door open after use, yet I recently noticed rust on the metal just to the right of the blue water dispenser. This is obviously a “manufacturing defect”. Contacted LG customer service they denied any responsibility. How is it a company as large as LG ethically (Legally) getting away with manufacturing a product that dispenses and use water as its function not have that product (Washing machines WT7300CV) be make of a material that has some type of material or coating that prevent rust. We are obviously not the only ones with this issue. There should be a class action suit against LG. Unless the company’s that sell the product do not step up all the customer can do is spread the word and boycott LG products.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes mine is rusting out as well and from what I read on line there was a pending Class Action suit again LG but was dropped for some reason. Cant believe that LG continues to sell this washing machine knowing that MANY have had the same problem with rusting. LG needs to replace all of these to save their reputation or maybe they don't care about customers!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.LG is junk! I will never buy their crap again. My new washing machine has rust all around the bleach dispenser just like so MANY others! Total waste of money.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, we purchased from Best Buy. It is rusting on the top on the right side next to the blue water outlet. Very disappointing. Would recommend that nobody consider purchasing an LG appliance as they don’t last.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, my machine is rusting from the inside out. I would NEVER recommend LG to anyone EVER!! They have horrible customer service and really do not care about the customer or the products they sell. The moment you have the washer/dryer in your home you are stuck with them and really have no support from LG. I am not sure how they continue to stay in business.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased my washer 6 months ago, there is rust all the inside of the drum. LG wanted me to run a cycle 5 times to see if that helps... Seriously, then I was told that rust is considered cosmetic damage and LG is not responsible. This is not cosmetic, it's not a dent or scratch in paint, the stainless steel drum is defective and rusting out. So, they are trying to pass the problem back to Best Buy and I am getting no help at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YES!!! I don’t use bleach and have NEVER put anything in the bleach tray but mine started resting only 14 months after I bought the washer. DO NOT BUY!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes & some how rusting clothes
