“I have a problem with water remaining in the soap dispenser/fabric softener tray after the wash cycle is finished. What causes this problem and is there a solution? I have to empty the water each time I use the washer and that is not OK.”

• We experience it too but why is it a problem? It's only water.

• Hello, Lucky! A small amount of water left in the dispenser for the LG - 5.5 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Smart Top Load Washer with TurboWash3D, White, Model:WT7400CW at the end of the cycle is quite normal. This is a result of the siphoning action of the dispenser drawer. Try cleaning your fabric softener dispenser to remove any blockages. If anything, you can replace the dispenser. ~Rita
