“Washing machine keeps displaying a dL error. The lock would not engage. I have tried restarting it many times, but it still would keep displaying the same error. I also unplugged it for couple of hours to weeks and tried it again. How can I fix it?”

• A dL error code on the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 5.7 cu.ft. 14-Cycle Mega Capacity Top Load Washer With TurboWash® Technology, Model # WT7700HWA indicates that the door latch switch is not functioning properly. There are possible causes that could lead to the display showing the error code such as: An item could be caught inside the door. Remove the item then unplug the unit for 10 seconds. Plug the unit back in and try to start the cycle again. The door switch may be faulty or the door latch itself may be damaged. If the dL error code persists, the unit will require a repair service...^IFV
