• This is intended to be utilized with a standard home receptacle outlet that is typically rated with a 15amp breaker. This does not mean the unit draws 15 amps, it is just what the breaker needs to have as a maximum trip point. This unit is incredibly efficient and after the initial inrush current has quickly subsided(<250 msec) it pulls approximately 2 amps maximum.
